WWA New Record
New Record in Winterwood S.S. Program!
We are excited to announce a new record in the school’s survival simulation program! Set by Katara Baneswing, Class 1, she has now defeated Jason Tritan’s previous record of 24 minutes! When asked about the win, Ms. Baneswing simply shrugged and said, “I was just trying to survive.” And that she was, for she lasted for forty minutes!
For those unfamiliar with the S.S. program, it places students in a high-risk situation and forces them to survive as long as they can. As you all know, there is a thick bundle of trees behind the school that is used for training Gifts directly. Hidden by the trees, there are no risks of normal humans spotting us. It is in this thicket that the S.S. program is based. Students get a five minute head-start (which is deducted from their finishing time) to go into the trees and find a place to hide. Then teachers are allowed to pursue them, three in each wave. If the students have proper skills of being able to cover their tracks, set up traps for the teachers, and even fight and escape teachers, then they will be able to survive longest. Katara Baneswing was brought in by Rogo, as he shifted into his hawk form and was able to find and subdue her by the river.
Well done, Katara Baneswing! And better luck next time, Mr. Tritan!
