Building my house: An Incomplete step by step list

• -Tiny Living Movie
• -originally set on foundation
• -speaking with contractor
• -never hearing back
• -premade home idea
• -finding the listing on craigslist 
• -resistant, worried the foundation would be more secure
• -going to look at and purchase it
  •      -process of getting a loan
• -getting the alpaca fur and other building materials with the purchase
• -hauling it home
• -first year of stagnation
  •      -waiting for “discount” windows per pestering
  •     -choosing to stop listening to others
• -grandfather’s death, inheritance, purchase of windows
• -putting the windows into the sides
  •     -making friends while doing so
  •     -videos watched while doing so
• -working while building a house, finishing a book, going to school, and paying for school
  •     -figuring out budgeting
• -making the purchase for the final items needed
• -building the lofts
• -redoing the roof
• -planning the electrical
  •     -cutting holes and cutting hands
  •     -working out length issues
  •     -mistakes happen
  •     -finding a way to work around mistakes
• -building the stairs
• -building the bump for the fridge
• -building the couch
• -moving in one winter and never going back
• -oh god the wasps
• -setting up drapes
• -insulation fun day
  •     -staying out of it for a few days
  •     -the oddness of being in my parents’ home again
• -putting up walls and ceiling

• -trip to visit a friend, return to ceiling finished
• -visitation and monster boy creation
• -rigging a drain
• -hope chest, wardrobe, and finishing the master loft
• -the wrong water heater
• -The shower oh my god the shower
• -Finding property 
  •     -searching, persistence, first offer, etc.
• -Pushing for the lot
• -Finding contractors 
  •     -oh god the fucking contractors
• -Electrical setup, plumbing setup, hiring a new contractor 
• -The entire mess about moving the house
• -the county’s anger
  •     -the note, the sign, the meeting, legality
• -more notes, more worries, fixing that as well
• -Complete 🙂
