\nWe sat beside another at the table.
\nHer sister asked if I would like another, and I offered my glass and drank,
\nLosing myself in the words of my companion,
\nForgetting my soberness,
\nUnable to turn away from what she was saying.
\nShe told me of the world, of the languages she spoke, of the places she\u2019s visited.
\nWe spoke of grandness,
\nOf futures and pasts.
