Perhaps there was a time when I was walking down the street from the library, and a car full of men whistled and hollered at me.<\/p>\n
Perhaps there was a time when a male friend messaged me. He told me in vivid detail how he\u2019d like to fuck me until his penis burst out the other side. He asked if I would like that. I told him to fuck off.<\/p>\n
Perhaps there was a time when I was petrified that a boy who kept following me would follow me home from school, walk with me down the dark road, and kill me.<\/p>\n
Perhaps these times were all when I was under the age of fifteen.<\/p>\n
But perhaps these aren\u2019t sexual harassment. Not truly. Because they happen so often that when asked, I generally forget they\u2019ve even occurred at all. What is this compared to rape? What is this compared to unwanted touch? Nothing, I would assume.<\/p>\n
